As part of efforts to ensure a seamless upcoming insecticide treated net distribution exercise in Ondo, the Catholic Relief (CRS) has commenced the training of conveyors of the mosquito nets across the state.

The training which was held across the 18 council areas of the state is to intimate them how to properly dispatch the nets from the local government central store to the various distribution points in all wards in the council area.  

Speaking at the palace of the ogbolu of ita ogbolu, the training venue for akure north, A logistician Officer with the Catholic relief service, Mrs Morenike Adeyemi reiterated the need for conveyors to take their job with all seriousness stressing that they are the link  to those at the grassroots.

The Local Government’s Malaria Elimination Officer, Mrs Funmilayo said conveyors expressed optimism that the distribution exercise will be hitch free having given the conveyors the requisite knowledge.

Some of the conveyors, Mr Wale Ijalade and Tomilola Ekeolu said the orientation has given them sound knowledge on how to effectively carry out their job.
