Boss of Mavin records, Don Jazzy, has called for more recognition for songwriters, urging those with such talent to showcase themselves.
The renowned music producer made the statement on his official social medium platforms stating that not everyone will be successful as artists.
Don Jazzy hinted he is working on something that will enable some talented writers earn more than artists.
The Mavin record label boss claimed to be playing his part by employing songwriters and his artists are willing to work with because they are not too proud and stingy.
He urged artists to let songwriters play their roles stating that no man is an island.
Don Jazzy called for a change in attitude towards recognition of song writers saying more credits should be given to them, insisting that everybody involved in a job deserves their accolades.
