Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has joined eminent Nigerians to condole the immediate past governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko over the loss of his mother, Mrs Muinat Mimiko who died at the age of 88 on Saturday.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the former governor at his Ondo city residence, governor Akeredolu said Mrs mimiko’s passage was a glorious one that calls for celebration.
Akeredolu While praying God to give the mimiko families the fortitude to bear the irreparable lose of their matriarch, implored them to remain united to sustain the good legacies of their mother.
Earlier, Dr Mimiko who narrated to governor Akeredolu how his mother passed on in the early hours of Saturday, thanked him for his thoughtful visit and expressed optimism that his late mother is sleeping peacefully in the Lord..
Former first lady of the state, Mrs Olukemi Mimiko and other family members including professor Rukayat Bestman, Professor Femi Mimiko and Dr Abbas Mimiko received governor Akeredolu and his entourage.
