Super Eagles star, Henry Onyekuru will be out ofaction for six weeks following a hamstring injury, which has also ruled him out of next month’s 2019 AFCON qualifier in South Africa.

The 21-year-old forward,who is on loan to Turkish championsGalatasaray from Premier League club Everton, was a late substitute in both the qualifiers against Libya in Uyo and Sfax.Onyekuru was reported to have returned from the international engagement with a hamstring problem in his left leg and will now miss the return of between the Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana, league clash against Bursaspor, three Galatasaray UEFA Champions League matches as well as the Istanbul derby against Fenerbache.

It would be recalled that the Former Aspire Academy graduate, who has five caps for Nigeria and assisted Samuel Kalu’s fourth goal in the matchday four of the AFCON qualifier in Uyo, missed out on the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia due to lack of match fitness after recovering from his previous injury.
