Leaders and members of the New Peoples Democratic Party in the All Progressives Congress will today (Wednesday) converge to review the outcome of their meeting with the Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
A top member of the group, who confided in The PUNCH on Tuesday, said that at the meeting with Osinbajo on Monday, nPDP insisted on booking an appointment with President Muhammadu Buhari to express their grievances directly to him.
A leader of the nPDP, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, had in an interview with journalists in Ilorin on Sunday, said the group would meet Buhari on Monday after the dialogue with the vice-president.
It was gathered that the nPDP could not meet with the President on Monday because of his busy schedule associated with the Democracy Day celebration.
The source, who spoke with newsmen, disclosed that the aggrieved APC leaders raised some of the issues at the meeting with Osinbajo and were satisfied with what the Vice-President told them.
The nPDP leaders were said to have told Osinbajo that their claim about the disunity in the APC had been justified by the crises that broke out of the congresses held by the ruling party across the states.
The group had met in Abuja on Wednesday, when they reviewed their grievances, which included marginalisation.
