The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps , Ondo state command has concluded plans at making security-communication easier for the people of the state to stamp-out crimes and social vices.

 

Commenting on the  arrangements, the Commandant of the Corps in the state, Pedro Awili Ideba said the Security-Communication project is an Hi-Tech technology that will have the data base centre at the command headquarters in Akure, Ondo state capital, while all the eighteen (18) local government areas in the state will have board stations at monitoring crimes and activities in the whole state.

 

He posited  further that , all other stakeholders like government agencies, schools, churches, mosques, business premises, individuals homes will be in possession of devises that will easily alert the corps either at the headquarters or local government base stations of any crimes like kidnapping , robbery attack or any crimes in their areas in case of such.

 

According to him  , a quick alert at any of of this stations will swift their officers to action and response to be on top of such crime, without leaving any stone unturned.

 

The Cross River born security officer noted that he has served nearly all the states of the federation and contributed immensely to the development of the Corps and most sincerely at boosting the economy of the nation respectively.

 

Ideba noted that, like building of exhibit yard at  Iriebe in Rivers State also that of Itam exhibit yard in Akwa-Ibom states respctivresp  where confisicated trucks of bunkerers in the areas are  kept , were examples of his wealth of  contributions to the nation’s economy.

 

The NSCDC boss added that  training and re-training of staff at any of his duty post command is essential at making sure the officers and men are alive to their duties.

 

While he solicits for the cooperation of the people of the state at getting ride off  towns and villages in the state of criminal elements with dubious intension most especially at this yelutide season.
