Swedish DJ and music producer, Avicii, who committed suicide, has been laid to rest in a private ceremony in his hometown of Stockholm.
28 year-old Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, was found dead in the city of Muscat, Oman, on April 20, was buried in a private ceremony which held at Skogskyrkogården, a cemetery in southern Stockholm which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Avicii’s friend Jesse Waits, a US entrepreneur and nightclub owner posted a picture on Instagram of the funeral order of service, simply captioned with a heart emoji.
Recently, the death certificate for later Swedish DJ Avicii had been released.
The form contained an interesting reference to the Islamic calendar on the form.
Avicii died on April 20, 2018 but, according to the document, Avicii’s date of death in the Hijri calendar is listed as April 8, 1439. His religion is listed as Christian of Swedish nationality. His name and date of birth are redacted for some reason, yet the certificate was released to newsmen as his.
Avicii died by suicide after using a broken glass to cut himself.
